General information
It is a work of art made by the sculptor Antonio Aparicio Mota. This sculpture made of bronze represents the image of a fisherman (jabiguero) wearing the typical clothing of the middle of 20th century. It represents "el tiro del copo de la jábega", old art of fishing in Conil. Nowadays it is in disuse. Hands on the block behind symbolise the own hands of fishermen or their descendants.
