Los Bateles Beach

Urban beach of about 1,400 m in length, with fine white sand. It is a very accessible beach. It is bounded by the Salado River and the Chorrillo Beach. Along the promenade there are several wooden walkways, which cross an area of abundant vegetation, dune and wetland vegetation, which allow access to the beach. It is a family beach with multiple services,including accessibility for people with reduced mobility such as amphibious chair,adapted services, and assisted bathing.

"La Almadraba" tuna fishing gear is visible from the beach during the months of April,May and June. In the area closest to the Salado River, you can practice different water sports such as wind-surfing or kite-surfing among others.

Services: Adapted for the disabled (amphibious chair, adapted toilets and assisted bathing). Walkways along the promenade leading to the sandy beach.

Parking: During the months of July and August, the parking area closest to the beach is a blue zone.

Interesting facts: This beach has the blue flag, an enviromental award granted by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) accrediting the quality of our beaches in terms of environmental information and education, water quality, environmental management, safety and services.
