Fishermen's Quarter Route

One of the most typical neighbourhoods of Conil. A route that will allow you to get to know the roots of this fishing village through its narrow and unique streets and corners. Here you will find out that all these streets have different names of fish frequently found along the Conil coastline. The Fishermen's Quarter is made up of houses with white façades grouped around a central courtyard, usually with a well and decorated with flowerpots carefully tended by its neighbours. On many of its doors you can see the image of the Virgen del Carmen, patron saint of sailors, whose feast day is celebrated on 16th July. The original Virgin can be found in the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, also visited on this route.
